Having two children with Autism and being in the military, my children didn't have much interaction with family or other children their age. My family moved back home after completing my enlistment and my son was showing signs of autism. We took the neccessary steps to get him the help that he needed and he is much better for it. Early detection will speed the process of early intervention to get help before it is too late. We took my son to several day cares and we were very upset to discover that many of the aides would not work with him. They said it was because he was different. We were very offended as well as saddened that our son wasn't being treated the same. Many people don't know what autism is or how to interact with people with autism. I am donating a percentage of all sales to go towards Autism research, awareness, education, and financial assistance for those impacted by autism.
