Autism.
1 in 68 children in the U.S. are diagnosed.
It's not a disability, it's a superpower. It's not a reason to stare or frown upon, but rather smile and empathize with.
For me, it's not a matter of if we will be able to find a cure, but when.
The courage, patience, strength, and love shown by each and every individual that has been affected by autism is my motivation.
By contributing to OAR, my goals are to help bring additional awareness to this cause, support the OAR mission to fund research and resources that help people with autism and, more importantly, support all of the families going through difficult times.
This is for my 1 in 68: my little cousin, Zachary.
