Dedicating 300 Miles to 300 Warriors

Welcome to Linda, Brett, & Jen's fundraising page for both the Organization for Autism Research & the American Cancer Society. 

We are "running" a year-long campaign to raise awareness for and to help both of these amazing organizations that not only help thousands upon thousands of individuals each year but also provide support to their families.

Both of these organizations are constantly working to improve the lives of people & families affected by either autism or cancer and we're looking to do everything we can to help. 

All year long, we'll be running various races of different mileages from 5k's to 100 miles to help with our campaign, and we would love if you can follow along with us the entire way! But this isn't about our running adventures, this is about those who bravely continue to pursue a better life with Autism and our friends and family who have been affected by cancer. We plan on sharing some stories along the way about the brave warriors we know who have either fought cancer, are living with cancer, or who find a way every day to make sure Autism doesn't change the way they enjoy their lives.

We greatly appreciate everybody's support in helping these two great causes and we hope you enjoy following along with Warrior Journeys!

Here's how you can help: 

Yes, this is the OAR page, but we've teamed up with The Organization for Autism Research and 50% every dollar we raise will be split with the American Cancer Society DetermiNation Philadelphia.

ALSO, WITHOUT HAVING TO DONATE you can send us a name of a family member or friend who has battled cancer or who has autism and we’ll dedicate a mile of our 100 mile races to them. Their names will be hand-written on our race-day shirts and carried with us through every mile. Our goal is to collect 300 names between all 3 of our 100 mile races to dedicate 1 mile for each loved one.

To add a name and dedicate a mile, message us either on Facebook or send us an email at info@warriorjourneys.com with the name who you’d like to honor. You may also include a story or photos in the message/email if you would like us to share their story on our blog or website. AGAIN, YOU DON’T HAVE TO DONATE TO GET A NAME ON OUR RACE SHIRTS.
