Hello Friends, and Family,
I have taken time off from running marathons for the past two years but told myself if I ran again it would be for a cause more than for myself. I watched at other marathons the dedication of those that had suffered at the Boston Marathon come back in 2013 and show the world we could not be stopped. I was one of those runners and I can't explain the feeling of support and honor before, during and after that race. I made a promise after New York Marathon that my next marathon, if I even ran one again, would be for a cause.
I made a choice to run for the Organization for Autism because I know family and very close friends that have austistic children and the selfless love that the give and share with others. Never asking for help but just showing love to not just their children but to all of us. Here is a little about me and OAR:

About Jean:
•Has run the three US Marathon Majors – Boston, Chicago, & New York
•London Marathon will be the 4th of the 6 Marathon Majors
•Made a commitment to run for a cause and raise $6500 for OAR
About OAR – Organization for Autism Research:
•87% of donations go directly back to children and their families
•Assist families in navigating the special education system
•Transition to Adulthood
•Professional Development
•Guide and assistance to Military families
•Sibling guidance
•Scholarships for post-secondary, undergraduate education
•Navigating and knowing what research to trust
•Hire Autism Business partners – Example: Home Depot
