In honor of the many children in my life who have been diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum, I will be running my first ever Marathon with my partner in running, Melissa, to raise funds and awareness for the Organization for Autism Research. My goal in participating in this event for OAR is for all children with Autism to have teachers who understand how to communicate with and effectively educate them. I want my friends, who at times are overwhelmed and unsure how to "parent" and advocate for their child/children with Autism to know that there is support and they are not alone. Please help me support this much needed and valuable organization by making a donation on my behalf.
