I am an Aunt, Godmother, Little Sister and Good Friend who cares about her loved ones with Autism!!!

I will be running in the Rock n Roll San Antonio Half Marathon to raise money for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR).  

I am hoping it will make those unaware of Autism that we are all equal and should not be treated any differently than the next person. One in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism and it is the fastest growing developmental disorder in the world.

OAR’s mission then is “to apply research to the challenges of autism.” To me, that implies three fundamental objectives: Raise money. Fund research. Change lives. It’s that simple, and the ultimate goal—making a lasting impact on the lives of children and adults with autism—compels us to raise the bar in fundraising and research funding each year.

There is nothing wrong with being Autistic because we are all unique and destined for greatness!! 

When we wish to see a change in the world, we must realize that it starts within ourselves!!

There is no donation too small in helping me reach, if not exceed, my fundraising goal of $800.00
