Hello there!
Not many of you know this, but I'm running the Brooklyn Rock and Roll Half Marathon, and ALL of you know...I do not run. I HATE running. This year, I decided to revist my relationship with running and see if me and running can co-habit for a good cause and who better to run with than my long time pal and college roommate, Neha.
We are running on behalf of the Organization for Autism Research (OAR). OAR was founded by families who have autism in their lives. They provide assistance with services, learning opportunities, research into autism and above all support for families who have entered this challenging world. Please join me in supporting a wonderful cause that above all cares and supports those who have autism and the families who support and love these amazing people! One in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism and it is the fastest growing developmental disorder in the world.
And yes, that cutie pie with the massive cake is none other than me! If you feel inclined to donate - thank you SO MUCH, I won't forget it! At the very least, please join us as we carb-load and have mimosas post race. Restaurant details to follow!
