As many of you may know, I love to run. I love it so much that I have helped start running communities in some form or fashion in my local community the past few years to see how it can change the community as a whole as well as bring individuals together that have that common bond. Being a Navy veteran I’ve run in the veteran community since leaving the service and it wasn’t until just before I ran the New York City marathon in 2015 that I decided I wanted to focus my running on a different area – supporting Autism research and the families and communities effected by Autism by raising money through the runs that I sign up for. It's a much different feeling knowing I'm running for a specific purpose rather than just benefiting myself. So I ask you, if you’re able, please consider donating to the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) as I put in the miles to increase the awareness of autism when I run the Las Vegas half marathon in November. Thanks!
