Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. It is important to me to support and acknowledge those with autism and the families who live and are touched by autism daily. I know people personally affected, who need our support in whatever way we are able to give it. I am honored and motivated to raise the funds to help Organization for Autism Research (OAR) who can help hundreds of families I am unable to reach personally. I am dedicating this run to my nephew Karl, I hope he will be watching out for me on the telly!!!
I have done this before, twice, I know the pain of 26.2 miles, the mental battle, the sore back, legs, lungs and knees (that are probably going to need replacing). I am annoying to people as I ask for their hard earned money, and I am probably going to lose my toe nails again! I have not run in nine years (double the above pain) and with a busy job, two toddlers and jet lag to deal with I am going to need all the help I can get! So I am asking (pleading) you to dig deep (deeper) into your pockets and sponsor me to run. I have been set the goal of raising $5000 and I hope to do more. Just to make it more interesting, if by any miracle I can beat my last recorded time from 2008 of 4:51:25, (picture showing Buzz Lightyear eating my dust) would you be willing to give again? I have until May 23rd to raise funds and can prove my time after I recover! You can let me know via your comment.
