I am running the 2017 London Marathon to support the Organization for Autism Reseach.
OAR strives to use science to address the social, educational, and treatment concerns of self-advocates, parents, autism professionals, and caregivers. What makes OAR special is their mission of applying research to answer questions of daily concern to those living with autism.
As a teacher, nothing was more frustrating than reading about educational and behavioral theories with no idea how to actually implement them! OAR addresses this vital need for practical and effective methods for helping those affected by autism.
Your donation allows OAR to improve the day-to-day lives of countless people affected by autism.
