So....if you know me, you probably know that I love to run. Also, you probably know that my other passion is for children's mental health. That being said, it is time again for me to combine these two major parts of my life for something greater than me. Several years ago a number of you supported me as I trained for an ran the Marine Corps Marathon as a charity runner for this fantastic group, the Organization for Autism Research. This time around I will be running two races to support the cause. On May 15, I will be running in the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon in Fredericksburg, VA and on October 30, I will run the Marine Corps 10k in Washington DC. As part of my fundraising, my goal is to raise $600 for OAR. For those of you whom are curious about what your money will actually be funding, $0.84 of every $1.00 raised goes directly into programing. These programs include supporting; applied research, scholarships for students with autism, and outreach. So if you are willing to support me, and this great organization, I'm willing to put in the miles. Thank you for you support.
