My son Logan was diagnosed with Autism on February 18, 2005 and over the years I have used athletic endevours to keep me sane. I will be running four races in October at Runners World Festival in Bethlehem, PA. The total distance during Festival weekend will equal 26.2 miles the equivalent of a marathon - a 3.8 mile trail race, a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. I have never run in a race to benefit Autism, however I have participated in walking and biking events here in New Jersey. I am now a proud runner for the Organization for Autism Research!! . I am a member of Team Red White and Blue, the Hill Runners of Hunterdon NJ, LAST (the Low and Slow Team), and now I am officially an OARsman. My goal is to raise $2,620.00 or the equivelent of $100.00 per mile that I will be running. Please help me in the battle against Autism!
